TORQON is built for riders who push their gear, from trail and enduro to e-MTB. Two large bearings carry the hub shell on a 17 mm axle, two more carry the freehub body. The rotor mount runs right up to the spoke flange, so braking forces go stiffly into the wheel.
The NonPlus Conical Ratchet System has 45 engagement points, so no more than 8° before it bites. On a technical climb or in a sprint, drive is there at once. The conical teeth spread the load over a large area, and the hard-anodised surface keeps wear low. NON PLAY sets the bearing preload by itself, NON VACUUM keeps moisture away from the bearings, NON GAP protects with a micro gap at the end caps.
Machined and assembled by hand in Winnenden, Germany. Hub, axle and end caps carry a 4-year warranty.
