Spoke Calculator terms of use.

1. Subject
NonPlus Components GmbH, Max-Eyth-Str. 7, 71364 Winnenden (“NonPlus”) provides the Spoke Calculator free of charge. It calculates guideline values for spoke lengths, tension ratio and bracing angle of wheels with NonPlus hubs. The Spoke Calculator is a planning aid and does not replace professional advice.
2. Guidelines without guarantee
The calculation is based on stored product data and your input, such as bolt circle, flange distance, effective rim diameter (ERD), hole count and cross pattern. Manufacturing tolerances of rims, hubs, spokes and nipples, rounding and deviating manufacturer specifications can lead to deviations. NonPlus gives no guarantee that the results are correct, complete or suitable for your build.
3. Your responsibility
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your input. If in doubt, measure the hub and rim yourself.
- Have the calculated lengths checked by a specialist workshop or our Wheel Specialist before ordering or cutting.
- Wheels should only be built by qualified people. Check spoke tension, roundness and lateral true before the first ride.
- The Spoke Calculator does not check whether rim, hub, spokes and nipples are compatible with each other and suitable for your use.
4. Liability
As the Spoke Calculator is provided free of charge, NonPlus is liable only for intent and gross negligence. Liability for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health, for fraudulently concealed defects and under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected. Otherwise, NonPlus is not liable for damage arising from the use of the results, for example for incorrectly ordered or cut spokes, installation and consequential costs.
5. Availability
There is no entitlement to any particular availability or scope of functions. NonPlus may change, extend or discontinue the Spoke Calculator at any time.
6. Data
The calculation runs in your browser. Your input is not transmitted to us or stored. So you don’t have to confirm the terms on every visit, your browser remembers your consent locally. More in the Privacy policy.
7. Rights
Product data, content and calculation logic of the Spoke Calculator belong to NonPlus. Automated querying or incorporation into your own software is not permitted without our consent.
8. Applicable law
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected. If the user is a merchant, the place of jurisdiction is the registered office of NonPlus.
