ULTRA is the hub where we went over every single part again. A high-speed seal with a low-friction coating, a friction-reducing coated freehub body and a reworked ratchet ring cut drag while coasting. Ceramic hybrid bearings spin more freely and keep doing so under load.
We rethought the spoke interface too: the drive-side flange of the rear hub sits further out and the spoke angle gets flatter. The wheel gets stiffer laterally and lasts longer.
Light does not mean fragile: PRIMARO ULTRA is approved for a system weight of up to 120 kg, on the road, on gravel and in races.
Inside sits the NonPlus Conical Ratchet System. Its conical teeth spread drive torque over a large contact area, which keeps wear low and engagement clean. NON PLAY sets the bearing preload by itself. NON VACUUM equalises pressure inside the hub and keeps moisture away from the bearings. NON GAP protects the bearings with a micro gap at the end caps instead of dragging seals.
Machined and assembled by hand in Winnenden, Germany. Hub, axle and end caps carry a 4-year warranty.
